Job Description

Seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Process/ Project Engineer to support manufacturing operations through process monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role plays a key part in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production while driving operational excellence.  Eastern NC client offers excellent compensation, benefits, and relocation package.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor production data and identify trends or variances.

• Troubleshoot process issues and recommend corrective actions.

• Lead process improvement projects focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and product quality.

• Conduct and document production trials.

• Review and approve operating procedures, process changes, and safety analyses.

• Support quality investigations and provide technical guidance.

• Train production staff on new and revised procedures.

• Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and operational policies.

Qualifications:

• BS Engineering degree with 7+ years experience as Process/ Project Engineer in process industries including chemicals, fibers, or related.

• Requires solid background in process equipment design, sizing, mass balance, heat transfer calculations.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
